How do I use a Live Photo?
Export the format for your phone, use Send to phone to transfer it, then save it to your gallery. For an Apple ZIP, follow the iPhone import steps below. Avoid chat apps that compress media.
Convert, transfer, and save to Photos
Pick Video to Live Photo, Image to Live Photo, or Video to GIF in Convert Studio.
Drop or select a local file. Trim the timeline and set a cover if needed.
Manually choose the target device format, resolution, and quality on the right.
Start conversion, then download the result or use Send to phone. Apple format exports a ZIP; see the FAQ below to save it on iPhone.

Both are a still cover plus a short video. Apple calls it Live Photo; Android brands often call it Motion Photo. This tool muxes the brand format you pick so the gallery can play it.
The phone must support Live Photo or Motion Photo playback. You also need to export the matching brand format — OPPO, Xiaomi, Honor, vivo, or Universal — for that device.
Yes. Save the matching brand format to the system gallery, then pick it in wallpaper settings. Messaging apps often strip the motion — use a file transfer or this site’s Send to Phone flow.
No. Conversion runs locally in the browser. You receive the result as a download.
The Apple .pvt package contains the cover, video, and metadata.plist. Both Download and Send to phone provide a ZIP that preserves this structure. Follow the import steps below and keep the files together.
Click Send to phone on your computer and keep the page open. Scan the QR code with the iPhone Camera, enter the matching code if prompted, and download the ZIP. In Files > Downloads, tap the ZIP to extract it. Open the folder with the same name and preview the Live Photo inside. Tap the down arrow next to the title and choose Save to Photos. On Mac, you can also AirDrop the entire extracted .pvt, or import it into Photos and sync with iCloud Photos.
Open Send to phone, then drop files or folders or use the selection buttons. Files in subfolders are added to the list. Scan the QR code on your phone to connect and download the original files individually. Empty folders are not transferred. Keep the computer page open.

Search “萌制作Live” in Chinese stores (Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO, vivo, Honor, and similar). Search “LiveBoom” in the App Store and other English stores. They are the same app.
HarmonyOS albums use private system APIs. Search for “萌制作Live” or “LiveBoom” in the app store for native gallery motion.
A ~32MB FFmpeg WebAssembly engine is required. It is cached in the browser and reused afterwards.
Pick “OPPO format” when exporting. OPPO / OnePlus (ColorOS) galleries require the JPEG + MP4 composite offset container; the Universal format may not be recognized on some devices. Save it directly to the gallery via a file transfer — do not send it through WeChat or QQ.
Choose “Xiaomi format” when exporting. Xiaomi / Redmi (MIUI / HyperOS) galleries rely on MicroVideo metadata (XMP) to detect Motion Photos. Save the result straight into the gallery and long-press to play it.
Pick “Honor format” for Honor and some Huawei devices, or “Huawei format” for Huawei EMUI. Their container layouts differ, so match the brand of your current phone to get reliable gallery recognition.
Choose “vivo format” when exporting. vivo / iQOO (OriginOS) uses a Motion Photo binary container. Export, save it to the gallery, and it will be recognized. Sharing via chat apps compresses the file and drops the motion data.
